What Data We Collect, Why And How
When you subscribe to our newlsetter 5WHYZ collects and stores the following information:
Your name – as you have inputted it
Your email address – used to send the requested newsletter
Unsubscribe – you can always unsubscribe to the newsletter and have your details removed from our database by either following the U/S link on the latest email sent or by emailing us directly.
The Love Club
Active newsletter subscribers are automatically entered into the monthly Love Club draw.
Chosen recipients will be contacted directly by 5WHYZ and asked to provide further personal details such as addresses and phone numbers in order to receive their gift. This information is never shared or sold to third parties.
Whenever you spend time on a website, the pages browser sends information to the site. Our processes automatically collect and store this data. This data includes your IP address, the pages you accessed, cookie information and your browser software. This information is also used by third party companies who provide site traffic analysis to us.
Any information submitted by an individual during a competition entry may be stored by 5WHYZ. This could include your name, email and social media handles.
The initial entry information volunteered by competition entrants will not be shared or given to the collaborating brand without your express permission being granted. This would be by way of ticking a consent box and will be optional and made very obvious to the individual at the point of entry.
Winners of competitions will be contacted directly by 5WHYZ and asked to provide further personal details such as addresses and phone numbers to ensure prize delivery. Expressed written permission will be sort from the individual to then pass this information onto the collaborating brand in order for them to issue the prize.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
